In 2005, we represented the Bell Family estate in what was of our most complex and complicated deals. The project involved a 600-acre parcel of developable land that straddled the border of Prince George’s and Charles counties. This meant that the property and any future development would be governed by the planning and zoning regulations of two different counties. We represented this property in two separate transactions. The first was from the estate to developer and the second from developer to Pulte Homes. Accokeek now enjoys the economic stimulation that comes from quality development.
